Today being June 22nd, marks exactly 2 years before the sequel to Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World hits theaters!
Jurassic World 2 will be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, who ironically was originally considered for the director's position for the first Jurassic World before the Studio decided on Trevorrow.
We know the film will see more of a mingling between Mankind and Dinosaurs. We also know the possibility of weaponized Dinosaurs is pretty much inevitable, with many of the Embryos having been transported off the island during Jurassic World's crisis.
Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be reprising their roles in the sequel as well.
With two years to go, I'm curious to know what everyone's hopes are for the sequel, who you'd like to be cast and what direction you hope the story takes? Sound off below!

I enjoyed Jurassic World. I really don't know what to expect from a sequel, but I liked the sort of subversive themes, parodying the need for greed... bigger, stronger, scarier. I'd like to see less goofy stuff like the T and I Rex battling and crashing into buildings. That's too Michael Bay for my taste. It was a little goofy how the I-Rex was dispensed with, too.
